Retro travel posters for classic monsters by Fernando Reza.

A recent school assignment on search engines poses the question, so I’m answering here and turning the link in for homework… So here goes:

As an iPhone user, the default search engine used with Siri is Bing. I much prefer google of course, it’s super fast and always effective. However, there is a bit of a conflict here, as we all know, Apple and Google don’t like each other much these days. Their relationship started out with plenty of romanticism, Apple using Google apps for their original iPhones (etc) but  over time, has turned into an ugly patent war and much less, a nemesis situation. Steve Job’s made it known that he planned on spending lots of Apple’s money to settle the score officially. Google has done a great job weaving itself into our daily lives with out much of a hitch. And as an Apple early adopter and long time Mac enthusiast, I have a hard time admitting that I truly do prefer Google and use it often. It’s too good not to, and since they’ve bought up many other popular companies (YouTube for instance) everything ties in together resulting in a better search experience.
